2024 Boundaries Education
The synods of Region 5 (Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) are working together to provide Collaborative Boundaries Education for rostered ministers and licensed lay ministers. The education will follow a three-year cycle and will include education on Professional Boundaries, Racial Equity, and Gender Equity. All rostered leaders and licensed lay leaders are expected to participate in this training.
This year’s training is on Thursday, November 7, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on the topic of Professional Boundaries. The cost is $100 per participant. Lunch and refreshments are included in the cost of registration. All Region 5 synods will be participating in this educational event at the same time.
The sessions will be offered at the following sites in the SCSW and you may choose to attend wherever is convenient for you:
- Evangelical Lutheran Church, 315 E. Main St., Mt. Horeb, WI 53572
- Immanuel Lutheran Church, 209 N. 9th St., Watertown, WI 53094
- McFarland Lutheran Church, 5529 Marsh Rd., McFarland, WI 53558

Once you have registered, please submit your payment online (please choose R5 Boundaries Education from the dropdown menu) or via check made payable to and mailed to the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin (please put “R5 Boundaries Education” in the memo line and do not include this payment as part of any other payments such as benevolence).
