Synod staff openings are listed first, followed by congregation and ministry setting listings.

  • Office Manager – St. Matthew’s ‘New Life’ Lutheran Church (Madison)
    St. Matthew’s ‘New Life’ Church, an ELCA Lutheran congregation just east of Madison, is an active and non-traditional community of faith. We are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment for the churched and unchurched to find a place to belong and to participate in spiritual growth opportunities. Located atop a hill in the open fields in the Cottage Grove area, there are opportunities here for staff, members, and guests to learn, grow, and be creative in serving God. The Office Manager is a key member of our team. This is a part-time position of approximately 20-24 hours per week. These hours are primarily Monday – Thursday from 8:00a-2:00p and hourly pay will be between $18-20/hour depending on experience and skill. This position is responsible for the daily operational management of the church office, which requires a wide variety of skills.   • Director of Youth Ministries – St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (Middleton)
    St. Luke’s Lutheran Church is seeking a passionate and creative Director of Youth Ministries to lead and grow our youth programs. This role focuses on middle and high school students, fostering their faith through activities, events, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a grounding in ELCA Lutheran theology.   • Director of Children’s Ministries – St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (Middleton)
    St. Luke’s Lutheran Church is looking for a Director of Children’s Ministry to provide vision, leadership, and creativity for our programs serving infants through elementary-age children.   • Organist/Pianist – Cooksville Lutheran Church (Evansville)
    Cooksville Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time organist/pianist to support our worship life and music ministry. This individual will play during Sunday services approximately once per month, providing accompaniment on both the organ and piano. We are looking for someone who is passionate about church music and is eager to be part of a welcoming, faith-filled community. Specific expectations include playing at our 10:00 am service, a knowledge of both organ, piano, and is proficient at both.  Compensation is $130.00 per service.     Our Savior’s Lutheran Church located in Sun Prairie is currently recruiting for a Director of Youth and Family Education.  The Director will be an energetic person dedicated to coordinating our youth programs to ensure that youth (grades PreK – early college-age) are fully integrated into the gathering, growing, and giving of the congregation.
