2022 Synod Youth Retreat

Welcome

We are ecstatic to announce our Synod Wide Youth Retreat this Summer at Bethel Horizons. This is a weekend event planned to gather from all over the South-Central region of Wisconsin! The plan is simple: to have fun, to laugh, to learn, to worship, to play, to meet one another and be together. This is intended for youth entering 8th-12th grade! The retreat will include worship, campfire time, large and small group games, hands on service projects, and use of the adventure space at Bethel Horizons. Expect the unexpected as the Holy Spirit weaves through our time together inspiring friendships, faith, and camaraderie.

Cost (Include overnight housing, all meals, programming)*:

 

  • Retreat Center Housing:
    • $275 per student
    • $150 per adult leader
  • Camping:
    • $225 per student
    • $100 per adult leader

Special Guest

We are excited to announce that Pastor Jenny Sung will be our guest and speaker for our Synod Wide Youth Retreat. Reverend Jenny Sung is an ordained #FreeRangePastor with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America meaning she spends most of her time traveling, preaching, speaking, writing, and coaching leaders how to heal through brave love and beloved community. She received her Masters of Divinity through Luther Seminary and is the founder and co-director of One Dance Company, a professional modern dance company in the Twin Cities. Connect with Rev. Congregations please register your group using the form below.
You may pay online through the synod website, by clicking here. Please choose “Emerge: Synod Youth Retreat” from the drop-down box. You may also pay via check, made out to SCSW with “Emerge” in the memo line. Mail checks to: South-Central Synod of Wisconsin, 6401 Odana Rd., Suite 20, Madison, WI 53719.
