Bishop’s Convocation 2018

Each year, the bishop invites all rostered leaders in our synod and their spouses to participate in a few days of learning, collegiality, respite and fun! This year we will gather in the Lake Geneva area under the theme: "Preaching & Proclamation in Such a Time As This". REGISTER by September 18 to reserve a hotel room!

Staying Alive Spiritually. . . a two day retreat

October 29-30 at Cedar Valley in West Bend, WI This Retreat is targeted at Clergy and Ministers serving congregations. Certified Spiritual Director Holly Whitcomb will help us learn to balance the expectations of leading others in an authentic spiritual life, while maintaining our own spiritual life.

“Culture, Change, and Church” – 2018 Change or Die Conference

Siebert Lutheran Foundation's Annual Change or Die Conference (Thursday, October 11, 2018 at: Milwaukee Marriott West) provides an opportunity for Lutheran ministry leaders to network and learn from each other. At the 2018 conference, we are excited to present Dr. James Emery White, the founding senior pastor of Mecklenburg Community Church, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Positions

Director of Music (Prairie du Sac)

St. John’s is seeking an individual who will serve as our organist and choir director.  The position is 18 hours/week.  Major responsibilities include playing for Sunday worship and conducting three choirs (two adult choirs and one youth choir). 

Keyboardist Position (McFarland)

McFarland Lutheran Church is seeking an organist/pianist to provide music for 2 Sunday worship services. This person would also accompany choir rehearsals one evening a week, and accompany choir performances on Sunday morning.

Chaplain (Madison)

Triangle Community Ministry is seeking a Chaplain who will be responsible for providing spiritual and emotional care to the residents living in the subsidized housing Triangle Community in Madison, WI.
