Skaalen Retirement Services is seeking a full-time Chaplain to provide spiritual care to by promoting a spiritual environment within the campus by leading worship services, providing prayer services, conducting Bible study, leading religious discussions, providing religious education and hymn sings with residents and patients in all levels of care. The successful candidate will need to be ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Ecclesiastical Specialized Care Endorsement status from the ELCA, and is Board Certified Chaplain status from the Association of Professional Chaplains.

The South-Central Synod of Wisconsin-ELCA will hold a Special Meeting of the Synod Assembly on November 2, 2019 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, WI. The primary purpose of this meeting is to receive and adopt the 2020 Synod Spending Plan. We will worship together, enjoy programming, lunch and then hold discussion and vote on a spending plan.
The Samaritan Center of Southern Wisconsin, announces a Pastor Leadership Seminar for all area clergy. The Seminar’s goal is to improve leadership skills for today’s ministry. Clergy present case studies of challenging situations in their churches, which require their leadership. Participants then receive peer feedback for fresh perspectives. Some readings, specifically focused on pastoral leadership will be discussed.

This 50-year old ELCA camp is seeking a full-time Office Manager/Registrar to coordinate the main office at Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison, WI. This position will also coordinate summer camp registration and coordinate and manage retreat bookings. Join a staff of 8-10 full time staff that provide support and programming for Bethel Horizons. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
This is a part time position. Responsibilities include: regularly accompanying All Saints in Worship at both the classic blended service & the New Song Praise Worship; directing the choir with weekly rehearsals & twice monthly performance; leading New song Band twice monthly; and assisting the pastor & Worship and Music team with planning worship liturgies and music.
