Fourteen people from our synod participated in an intense Conflict Mediation Training at the Mediation Skills Traning Institute for Church Leaders at the Lombard Mennonnite Peace Center in Chicago.  These members are committed to being part of a resource team for congregations in our synod that are experiencing conflicts of various types.  The training was intense and has well prepared these participants to assist congregations and individuals in resolving and healing conflict.

The team is:  Bishop Bruce Burnside, Rev. Sara Yotter, (synod staff), Rev. Blake Rohrer (synod staff),  Rev. Steve Kottke, Rev. Mary Froiland, Rev. Fred Rilling, Rev. Kathy Jacobson, Rev. Ted Kalkwarf, Rev. Chris Lee-Thompson, Rev. Bond Haldeman, Rev. Sara Gillespie, Rev. Martha Butzier, Rev. Roger Severson and Rev. Keith Anderson.
