Campus ministries in our synod share and embody the Gospel of Jesus Christ in faithful, dynamic and life-changing ways.  Working under the authority of the synod council, the Synod Campus Ministry Oversight Team (SCMOT) provides support and advocacy for the three campus ministries in our synod:  University of Wisconsin-Madison, UW-Platteville, and UW-Whitewater.  The team also is responsible for distributing annual grants for these three ministries using money from the synod budget national campus ministy and other gifts from individuals and congregations.

SCMOT has an ongoing "Friends of Campus Ministry' fundraising campaign in which individuals or congregations give $100/year to support ministries on campuses in our synod.  All of the money raised through "Friends of Campus Ministry" is distributed to the three campus ministries mentioned above.  We invite you to join us in becoming a Friend of Campus Ministry!

SCMOT members and campus ministry staff are also willing and ready to receive invitations from congregations to describe the gifts and work of Lutheran campus ministry.  This can be done on a Sunday morning (i.e., temple talks, adut forum presentations) or some other gathering of a congregation.
