Moving Deeper in Mission Together
Upcoming Events:
July 15 - "Generosity Across the Generation" - Covenant (Stoughton)
8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Childcare Provided.
Following Jesus’ command to CARE for one another, all generations are invited to join in a day of conversation, learning, experiencing and planning.  Bring the toddlers, millennials, empty nesters, older wiser Lutherans and even the squirrely teenagers to see how they all contribute to the wealth of your congregation…wealth in spirit, in talent and financial gifts.  This Generosity Project event is an extension of the ELCA’s Macedonia Project, an initiative that helps congregations and synods grow in their stewardship practices and capacity to be generous.  The workshop will provide a model and resources for congregations to equip individuals and households for engaging in meaningful cross+generational experiences and conversations about generosity.

August 19 - “Nuts & Bolts of Leadership” - Location TBD

September 16 - Worship Event - Our Savior’s (Sun Prairie)

CONNECT  CONNECT is a renewal process that strives to empower congregations to grow spiritually, discover their gifts as a congregation, and live out their faith in the community by sharing the gifts with which they have been blessed. It is a two-year process that consists of workshops, homework for the leaders, and the implementation in the congregation.
CONNECT starts with congregations selecting 4-7 members (including the pastor) to serve on the Congregational CONNECT Team. This team will commit to make as many of the workshops as possible, be spiritual leaders in the congregation, participate in monthly meetings with the CONNECT Team, and be the bridge between the CONNECT process and the congregation. Over the two-year period there are four workshops.
If you are interested in learning more about participating in this renewal process, please contact Rev. Erik Jelinek, Director for Evangelical Mission at (608) 270-0201 or email him at:  erikj@scsw-elca.org.
