Statement on Family Separation issued by ELCA Presiding Bishop & Faith Leaders

Recently, the Administration announced that it will begin separating families and criminally prosecuting all people who enter the U.S. without previous authorization. As religious leaders representing diverse faith perspectives, united in our concern for the wellbeing of vulnerable migrants who cross our borders fleeing from danger and threats to their lives, we are deeply disappointed and pained to hear this news.

Director for Evangelical Mission for the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin -Madison

The DEM call for the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin will be listed on the ELCA job board this Wednesday, June 20.  Anyone on the Word and Sacrament roster who is interested can go to the job board to apply.

Director of Youth and Family Ministry – Verona

Director will be responsible for building a community of faith for and with 6th – 12th grade students and their families at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. This is a full-time position responsible to the lead pastor, and involves creating, developing and implementing ministry opportunities for youth to participate in education, fellowship, worship, and service
