The Boundaries Leadership Workshop will focus on your role as a leader and teacher of healthy boundaries in congregational ministry. We expect all rostered ministers to attend a boundaries workshop at least once every three years. In keeping with the importance of attending these workshops, and based on best practices, the synod will keep a record of attendance and non-attendance in each rostered minister’s file.

Moving Deeper in Mission TogetherMoving Deeper in Mission Together Events:

"Nuts & Bolts of Congregational Leadership" originally planned for August 19th has been postponed due to a number of conflicts.  This event will be incorporated into the Winter MDiMT event, with many of the same planned workshops still being offered as well as some stewardship workshops too.  As more information becomes available, we will let you know.  If you have questions, please contact  Rev. Erik Jelinek, DEM at erikj@scsw-elca.org.

The South-Central Synod of Wisconsin is Proud to Present: "CONNECT!"Connect
Connect is a unique, two-year process for developing a strategy for your congregation's future. It is a renewal process that strives to empower congregations to grow spiritually, discover their gifts as a congregation, and live out their faith in the community by sharing the gifts with which they have been blessed. It consists of workshops, a coaching relationship, homework for the leaders and the congregation, and developing a strategy for the congregation's future. Over the two-year period there are four workshops. A brochure with complete details will be mailed this week. Rostered leaders and Congregational Presidents should keep an eye out for it. The first session will be held Saturday, October 1. For more information and/or to register, contact DEM, Rev. Erik Jelinek at erikj@scsw-elca.org.

Do You Know Graduating High School Seniors? The ELCA has Lutheran Campus Ministry sites at over 180 colleges and universities across the country, including 10 sites here in Wisconsin. Many students, however, do not know these ministries exist. Would you like a campus pastor to reach out to your graduates? It's really easy to make this happen - just go to: http://lumin-networkreferral.org/student-referrals/ and fill out the online web form for each of your students. The campus pastor at the college or university will receive an email with the student's contact information. Questions or problems? Contact Emily Tveite, Campus Pastor at Lutheran Campus Ministry in Madison at director@lcmmadison.org or 608-257-7178
